1. PURPOSE
To provide prospective bidders with answers in response to questions raised by email for the “Appointment of a service provider to undertake research project CoE 240604 “investigate the reduction of the Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) exposure risk associated with the use of backfill in underground gold mines for support”. MHSC 022/2026-27.
2. BACKGROUND
The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) has issued Bid MHSC 022/2026-27 for appointment of a service provider to undertake research project CoE 240604 “investigate the reduction of the Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) exposure risk associated with the use of backfill in underground gold mines for support.

There was an error on criteria 3 of the functionality evaluation. It was mentioned that bidders will score 0 points for submitting CV with less than 5 years’ experience |

All other terms and conditions of the tender document remain unchanged. Bidders are requested to take this addendum to take this addendum into account when preparing their bids.
