Manage the flow of MHSC documents and ensuring that correct procedures are followed at all times in handling the documents. Ensure accessible and timeous availability of documents.


Minimum requirements

To be considered for this role you must have:

  1. Matric
  2. Computer Literacy
  3. 1 (one) year experience working with documents

Key performance areas

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Created documents according to the filing system
  • Opened and close files upon request accordingly
  • Appraised and disposed of documents and maintain filing system
  • Updated register’s of opened, closed and archived files.
  • Monitoring of records control cards
  • Sorted files 100% correct according to the filing system
  • Filed documents accordingly
  • Check physical conditions of records and restore torn files
  • Receive post from the post office and from the security at the main gate
  • Record statistics of incoming documents daily
  • Record all incoming documents
  • Distributed post upon receipt
  • Prepared documents for scanning
  • Scanned and indexed documents
  • Maintain records of material stored
  • Classified research material by thrust areas
  • Catalogued all material
  • Assist users on how to use the system
  • Handle book requests
  • Arrange and describe information to be disseminated
  • Retrieve health and safety material to RTS’s for dissemination
  • Repack and update the store room for research material
