The aim of the commemoration is to raise awareness on the issues of TB and HIV/AIDS in the mining industry, ensuring that the rights of people living with HIV and AIDS are not violated, to also encourage testing and screening, and that discrimination on the basis of TB and HIV/AIDS is reduced, and ultimately eliminated. Further-more due to the unpredicted and unprecedented pandemic we will raise awareness about COVID-19 and encourage that we all comply with the rules and regulations created by the State to prevent the spread.
